As a Virginia native, I grew up in Chesapeake and
attended Virginia Tech University. I moved to North Carolina
14 years ago, and I immediately fell in love with the Outer
Banks. I met my husband Andrew here, and we now have 2
beautiful children, Drew and Rhiannon.
Once I had my first child, Drew, what began as a veiled
interest in alternative healing methods became a passion. I
became aware of what I was introducing into his body, and I
ultimately became concerned. I enrolled in The School of
Natural Healing where I obtained my certification as a
Nutritional Herbologist. I am currently continuing my
studies and working towards becoming a registered herbalist
with the American Herbalist Guild. My goal is to reach out
and help as many people as possible. I also have some
training in the Yuen Method of Chinese Energetics.
